If you’re like me, then the simple fact that the speakers work is good enough and you don’t need anything more. But if you’re not like me and you like to play with your PC’s sound devices, then you need to take a look at an Adrosoft product called AD Sound Tools. This thing features a signal generator, a recorder, two oscilloscopes, and two spectrum analyzers. It can generate sine and white noise, it can record a signal as WAV and convert it to MP3, it lets you test sound interference, and more.

As you can see from the Quick Look video that accompanies this article, a straightforward setup wizard will guide you through all the steps you need to take to install AD Sound Tools on your Windows PC. The application is fully compatible with any Windows edition from Windows XP up to Windows 10.

The Help file that accompanies AD Sound Tools explains that the interface is made up of 6 elements: generator, playback devices, level meter, recorder, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers. Check out the Help file if you want to better understand the interface and if you want to better understand what can be done with AD Sound Tools. The Help file clearly lists all the key features and explains how to use them.

AD Sound Tools is free to use, for evaluation purposes, for a trial period of 30 days. A prompt will show up every time you launch the application and invite you to purchase a license, register your copy, or keep on evaluating AD Sound Tools.

Go get AD Sound Tools if you want a software application that features a signal generator, a recorder, two oscilloscopes, and two spectrum analyzers.

Pros

AD Sound Tools is compatible with Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8 or 8,1 and 10; installing it on a Windows PC takes little time and effort. The Help file clearly presents the interface’s 6 main elements. AD Sound Tools features a signal generator, a recorder, two oscilloscopes, and two spectrum analyzers.
